Shinigami Complete Progression Guide

Core Faction Mechanics
Skill Tree Capping
You have 208 Skill Points (SP) total. Do not play a balanced "watered-down" build. Pick one path (Melee or Kido) and max it out. Resetting your stats is extremely expensive and costs Robux.
The Skill Trap
Early-game active skills are useless and deal zero damage. You will fight using standard M1 sword combos for half the game. Skills only become meta when upgraded to Tier 3 or Tier 4 to unlock mechanics like instant knockdowns and combo resets.
The 12 Meditation Phases to Unlock Shikai
To evolve your Zanpakuto, you must reach Level 25 and initiate mental warfare through 12 strict meditation stages. Press M to sit down. If your character falls asleep, your current progress is capped.
Phases 1 - 3: The Bells Puzzle
The Trial
Your inner blade will start whispering directions. You must find and strike specific environmental bells in the exact chronological order whispered to you.

Phases 4 - 5: The Fog Gate
The Trial
You enter your inner world, but it is pitch black. You must navigate through a heavily fogged maze grid with zero map markers to find your blade's core.
Phases 6 - 9: The Surprise Gank
The Trial
You talk to your Zanpakuto spirit to build synergy. Be careful. During Phase 9, the spirit will trigger a sudden ambush fight to test your reaction time. If you lose, your progress loops back.
Phase 10: The Shikai Mirror Clone Boss
The Trial
A locked arena fight against an AI clone of yourself. The clone uses your exact stats and weapon moveset. It is hyper-aggressive and loves to spam flash steps.
How to Cheese ItPro
Never rush in with wild M1 spam. You will get perfect-blocked and deleted. Stand completely still. Wait for the clone to flash step toward you, tap your block key to execute a perfect parry, and punish with a short M1 string. Repeat this safe defensive loop to clear the boss.
Phases 11 - 12: The Sea of Swords
The Trial
You are dropped into an ocean of infinite floating weapons. You must locate and pull out the one true sword that belongs to you.
The PunishmentRisk
If you pull the wrong sword, your Shikai progress resets to zero. You will have to go back to the public zones and grind more player kills to try again. If you succeed, you unlock your Shikai element variant, like high-burst Blue Fire.
High-Tier Shinigami Build Meta
The 3-Point Charm Strategy
The Rule
Your character can equip custom stat charms. If your total charm points exceed 3, the game applies a massive 20% to 40% flat HP penalty to your character.
The Meta SecretPro
Run a strict 3-Point setup to stay safe. High-tier players run the Triple-Hit Exploding Charm. This setup lowers your basic M1 damage to 10% for the first two hits, but the third consecutive hit explodes inside the enemy for 110% total burst damage. It completely bypasses S-tier defensive guards.
The Squad Selection
Once you claim your Soul Pager device, you must join a formal Squad. If you run a hybrid magic build, join Squad 12. It provides an unlisted scaling buff to your active Kido damage nodes.
The Dangai XP Boost
Keep your ears open for the global chat alert: "Dangai has opened." For 10 minutes, all teleports pull you into a lawless PvP zone. If you love high-risk ganks, enter the zone to farm triple XP rewards. If you hate PvP, hide in a safe house until the gate closes.
