Map & Leveling Routes Guide

Stop getting lost in the wild. This is the simple, step-by-step map guide to taking your character from the starter villages all the way to the endgame lawless zones. Follow this exact path to level up fast.

The 4 Main Map Progression Stages

  1. Stage 1: Soul Society Outskirts (The 4 Starter Villages)

    • Level Range: Level 1 to Mid-Game
    • What to do: This is the big starter map where all races (Shinigami, Quincy, and Hollows) spawn together. There are 4 main villages hidden across this long map grid.
    • Easy Tip: Every village has at least 5 NPC quests. Walk inside the villages, pick up all the green and red quests, and chain-farm them to get fast early-game EXP.

  2. Stage 2: The Swamp Ravine (The Toxic Gas Zone)

    • Location: Look for the giant crack/ravine right in the middle of the Stage 1 starter map. Jump straight into the hole to fall down into the Swamp.
    • The Death Trap: The Swamp is filled with green toxic gas. If you jump down without equipping the Respirator item in your utility slot, you will die instantly.
    • How to survive: Complete the crafting village quests in Stage 1 to build a Respirator at the workbench. Once inside, hunt the giant Crocodile King boss and keep his skin—you need it to open the next map.

  3. Stage 3: The Gatekeeper’s Great Wall (The High-Level Area)

    • Location: Look for the massive, giant iron gates located at the very top section of the main world map.
    • How to pass: The quests here are very spread out, but they give huge chunks of EXP. Give the Crocodile King's skin to the NPC Gatekeeper to open the door and unlock the highest level zones.

  4. Stage 4: Hueco Mundo & Dangai (The Endgame Lawless Zones)

    • Hueco Mundo: The ultimate home map for Hollow and Arrancar players. To unlock a permanent teleport here, you must reach the maximum rank in your chosen faction.
    • The Dangai Portal: Watch the global server chat. When the text screams "Dangai has opened," you have 10 minutes. Any teleport you use will drag you into a lawless PvP zone. It has a giant Nether Portal noise in the background. Hide in the safe rooms if you hate PvP, or hunt players inside for a 3x combat EXP boost.
